My Samples for Week 1 Watercolor for Card Makers Class

I have been having a lot of fun with the Online Card Class (OLCC) Watercolors for Card Makers.  Week 1 is over and I have made several samples to share.  These are just samples to let me try out the techniques, many for the first time.  Although I have taken many OLCCs classes this class has taught me something new with every video.  I only share the finished sample and supplies.  Unless otherwise stated all stamps and stencils are from Club Scrap.

Day 1 and 2 Watercolor Backgrounds

Day 1 Technique 1
Above a soft color wash with stencil using 140# mixed media paper and Inktense Pencils.

Day 1 Technique 3
Above a watercolor wash over embossed image using 140# mixed media paper, Wow clear embossing power, Inktense Pencils

Day 2 Technique 1
Above a soft watercolor wash with salt using 140# mixed media paper and Inktense Pencils

Day 2 Technique 2

Day 3 and 4 Watercolor Stamping

Day 3 Technique 2
Above stamping for water coloring using 100# vellum Bristol paper.  Left side Distress Markers and ride side Dewert Inktense blocks.

Day 3 Technique 3
Above Creative Stamping for water-coloring using 100# vellum Bristol paper and Distress Markers

Day 5 and 6 Water-coloring Stamped Images

Day 5 Technique 2
Above water coloring a stamped image using distress watercolor paper rough side,  Distress Ink Frayed burlap, and Koi Watercolors.
Day 6 Technique 3
Above water coloring an embossed image using 100# vellum Bristol paper, embossing powder from Lindy's Stamp Gang in Merci Beaucamp Mint, and Koi Watercolors.

If these spark your interest I urge you to think about joining for the class.  You can go at your own pace and you get lifetime access to videos and materials.  Each day has three technique videos including a card made for each.  Later this week I'll post a tag made using one of these techniques.

Thanks for stopping by and your comments are appreciated.

Happy Crafting,
Debby
