Locked in My Heart Display Tray

Hello crafters and welcome to the Club Scrap Lock and Key blog hop!

I'm glad you are stopping by my blog today.  Hasn't the inspiration so far been wonderful?

I have two projects for today.  All using the Club Scrap Lock and Key Collection.  The first I made my own version of the “Bag of Memories” Project from this month’s Club Scrap Magazine Page 4-5.  On the cover I used an embossed resist technique from Tim Holtz’ Creative Chemistry 102 online class.

The second project was inspired by the cut apart images included in each Club Scrap collection.  I made a Changeable Photo Display Tray using a pattern developed by Laura Denison as published in a Graphic 45 blog hop at this link.

I made a tray with chipboard cards to hold pictures.  Each card is wrapped with neutral patterned paper from Club Scrap basics collection. On one side I decorated the cut aparts using paints or ink.  Then I added my papers and embellishments from Lock and Key plus few supplies from my stash.  All the hearts were die cut from the red metallic paper in Club Scrap’s Tribal Kit.   I finished each with a ribbon tied binder clip.

On the back side I covered each with Lock and Key patterned paper.  When I add pictures I can mix and match the decorated and plain sides for a perfect display.  I can't wait to print my favorite pictures and put them on display at work.

Thank you for joining in the Blog Hop and for reading my post.  Here is a link to your next stop with Tiare at iClassyGirl.  Also, here is a link back to the start at Club Scrap Creates.
Happy Crafting!
