This Volvo Garage was made to hold a model of my husband’s
1960 Volvo. Below is the PV544 Volvo he is restoring. It is the same one this
parents owned his whole life.

I started
with a kit from
Laura Denison for her
Maple Street Gas Station and Theater pattern. Laura's kit featured Kaisercraft's Garage Days paper collection. To that I added a model of the PV544 Volvo. I
was lucky that the model scale was just right for the pattern. I modified the roof line and moved out the
gas pump to create a decking for the model.
